This under the sea Mac & Cheese recipe was so good, I almost applied for a business loan to open a restaurant!
Keep in mind that if you don’t eat seafood, you can still use this recipe to make regular Mac & Cheese.
Here’s what you will need:
Colby Cheese (1 block/rectangle)
Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 block/rectangle)
Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
–keep in mind, the amount of cheese you will use is dependent on how cheesy YOU like it—
Italian Cavatappi Noodles ( I personally have only found these at Kroger)
1/2 cup milk or heavy whipping cream
3 tb. butter
Green onions (optional)
Salt & Pepper
Chunky Crab Meat
Chunky Lobster Meat
Preheat oven at 375 degrees
Boil noodles while cutting cheese and onions:
3. In a separate skillet, cook the crab and lobster, adding 1/2 tbs. butter to avoid meat sticking to pan. Cook and stir for about 7-10 minutes (don’t worry crab will still appear pink)
4. Once noodles are done boiling and meat is done, mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour all ingredients into non-stick pan.
5. Bake in oven for about 20-25 min.
6. Put oven on broil and broil for 10-15 min.
