As your kids get older, you aspire them to start valuing experiences versus just things. What better thing to do than to share this aspiration with other children at your child’s birthday party! This year my daughter wanted to share her love for cooking and baking and have a cooking party for her 7th birthday. How exciting?! But where would we find the space to do such a thing with so many children, living in an apartment?
If you can’t find them at your local Dollar Tree, as every Dollar Tree is different, they do offer these items there at the venue. You can even pre-order them with each child’s name on them!

Once we set up everything and all of her guests arrived, the fun began!
First they explained the importance of sanitation while cooking, some brief rules for the party, and basic terms used while cooking. My daughter and her guests were addressed as ‘chefs’ and the girls loved it!

For my daughter’s party, we choose the ‘Classic Pizza Party’ option.
The age ranges for the children were from 2-11. Such a large range goes to show you that their staff has the ability to work with all ages and that this could be fun truly for any age.
Once the pizzas were in the oven, it was time to take a group photo, decorate the cupcakes, and sing happy birthday.
The party was definitely a success and I would HIGHLY recommend having a cooking party!
